Well, had the miscarriage not happened, today would be the 2nd anniversary of the baby's due date.
I miss you child, and hope to hold you someday. Until that day, I will remember you and hope for the future.

Maybe I should update this blog.
Wow, it is almost Thanksgiving already!
I spent a week in Portland, Oregon for work in June. We had a great summer where Richard my father in law stayed with us. Steven came out to visit for Labor Day. Football season has begun (Go Niners!) and we had our 12 year anniversary. I flew into Seattle for a one day work conference and flew back on the same day. That was brutal. I'm sure that I'm forgetting more, but that's what happens when one doesn't update more often.
Last night I saw Dracula w/Cliff & Fletcher (from my Pathfinder game group) while Rebecca played Bunko as a substitute with Cliff's wife. Other than when Steven came out and we saw X-Men in September, I think those are the only times I have gone to the movies with someone other than Rebecca this year.
We have a new roof, the hail damage in May & Spring allowed us to put in an insurance claim, so we are paying off the deductible, which is much less than a new roof. The original roof made it 17 years, but I am hoping this new roof with better materials lasts even longer. We also replaced the guest room and sewing room windows in October. They were sketchy when we got here due to sun exposure, and Arianne broke both of them, so they have not really been very open-able for at least 5 years. Plus the vinyl was cracking as they face the rising sun & were weathered, the cheapest grade of 90s double-paned windows that the contractor could put in. The new ones are quite energy efficient, so we plan on trying to replace a couple of windows a year.
Last week our car got a tune-up, new tires, and some other service work due to it's age (over 9 years old now, @73k mileage), so we are ready for a trip to Lehi to see the Smiths, Steven, & my parents. We're hoping the weather cooperates, because I used my Hilton points to reserve a hotel in Rawlins. Thank you Blue Horseshoe, may you ever fail.
That's it for today.
